Since we have not managed to post August entries yet (Jen was home sick again on Friday with laryngitis and a chronic shoulder pain), we will add the latest. The week was nothing unusual except there was a lunar eclipse that we missed because we don’t understand the announcements on the Tongan radio and our friends forget to tell us until after the fact. Apparently, it was a full eclipse and quite magnificent. We don’t’ know if you folks on the other side of the globe had the same opportunity to see it this time. Fortunately, the heavens will provide us with many more in years to come.

Thursday, we had our first game night. Jen though that we should share the fun we have been having as a family with our friends, so we invited everyone to snack, treats, tea board games and cards. A few came. We had a great time. We will probably do it again sometime soon. You are all welcome to come, if you can catch a flight – hee, hee.
